Worcestershire Beacon, also popularly known as Worcester Beacon, or locally simply as The Beacon, is a hill whose summit at 425 metres (1,394 ft) is the highest point in Worcestershire. The hills are managed by the Malvern Hills Conservators under five Acts of Parliament of 1884, 1909, 1924, 1930, and 1995 whose aim is to preserve the nature and environment landscape of the area and to protect it from encroachments. The Beacon is highly popular with walkers with its easily reached dense network of footpaths crisscrossing it and the area has been designated by the Countryside Agency as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Walked up Worcestershire Beacon at the end of September and had excellent of Great Malvern - very good walking paths that should suit most abilities but do remember that it is at the top of a hill...

Amazing walk very worth it! Hard on the way up but takes not long at all to get down! Recommend parking next to priory park
First time visiting great malvern , & walking up the Worcestershire beacon. Did it with a 5kg rucking bag & set off up to the hills. Beautiful view all the way up though town & st anns well . It took me 1hr 36 mins to reach defiantly worth it why its challenging and hard . You be so thankful why you did it and take in the wonderful views & fresh air..and its a great feeling you have reached the Worcestershire beacon summit.
