    Visited here in 2009 with my late wife and absolutely loved it. Came now with my 12 year old daughter and she loved it and I loved making new memories with her. Could easily have spent more time...

    Before exploring the castle, watch the introduction video at the entrance. Apart from history, you will get extraordinary scenery views. It's mind-blowing. The cafe was great. Foods were delicious. I strongly recommend buying the tickets in advance.

    A nice castle to visit, took us about 30 minutes to walk around. Offers lovely views of the lake! I’d combine it with a lake boat or a hike as on its own it is quite far away and not worth the journey in itself. There’s also a nice cafe for a drink and a refresher :)
