A quaint arts and crafts garden, Hidcote Manor Garden contains different themed outdoor "rooms." Explore the maze of narrow pathways leading to the each room, take a moment to reflect on one of the many ornate benches throughout the property, or find a place of seclusion among the taller trees. The gardens are home to a vast number of exotic plant species from all over the world. After your visit, follow the Monarch's Way path to the quaint hamlet of Hidcote Bartrim and its traditionally thatched "chocolate box" stone cottages. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. We were so lucky as the weather was perfect and the gardeners said it was pretty much the optimum time to see the gardens. It was pretty spectacular, and we walked around in awe smelling roses and photographing plants. You can message them and they will help you identify the species. The lady in the plant shop helped us .and we brought ice creams there too. So good we're going again later in the week. Good toilets, cafe busy so suggest an earlier visit if you want to eat. Highly recommended

Must be one of the best gardens in the UK, & an excellent national trust place to visit. Stunning. Amazing when most of the plants & shrubs are in flower. We visited mid-July. Many benches available for places to sit and take in the gardens. Lawn areas, a lily pond, a wood, & orchard to walk through, and even a tennis court. Usual good NT cafe, & shops - general plus plants.
