  • Popped in there whilst in Chelmsford, greeted by a nice friendly lady, it quite small but very interesting with lots of items to look at. Thought it was interesting especially for children. Overall...

  • We happened to be going past on a Saturday and decided to go and have a look. (We had talked about it many times before!) There is a car park outside which is free and the museum itself is free to enter. The museum is small but they have crammed a fair amount in, and made it as friendly as possible for the small people visiting. Your not likely to be there hours, but its certainly worth a look if in the area. Kids particularly enjoyed doing their fingerprints and using a light and magnifying glass to look at the displays!
  • It's very small but fun. Staff friendly and helpful. Free car park. Has a small souvenir shop. I really enjoyed visiting this museum with my little family. We probably spent less then an hour here but in this time we; tried on police uniform, solved a crime, took our own fingerprints, found jewellery, coloured in, played with toys and of course found out a little bit about police history.
