    Located off the Roman Road from Ingatestone to Chelmsford the windmill is visible from the road on the Chelmsford bound side, accessed by road through a narrow (7 foot) barrier into a free car park...

    Lovely windmill we spotted whilst out for a walk. It was closed but is impressive and right beside it is a cricket field which on hat day we visited had cricket being played.

    I lived near this in the 70s and 80s, it has been in a sorry state in the past but has been fully refurbished some years back and now looks stunning.
