You need to park car in town and walk up, do not drive up hill as no where to park. Very pretty. Nice walk not too difficult, a few slippy places but overall ok.

Nice little gem 😊 It took us 1hr to walk with 2 kids , 6&9 yrs old. You can park up close by in any lay bays just ask at any shop for disc. It was a bit muddy but this is most enjoyable part for our kids 😆 We had loads planned and those Waterfalls were unexpected turn. To see my kids running up the hill, get muddy and simply happy is the best feeling. We have seen more spectacular waterfalls but this one was the most calming walk.

A lovely walk through the woods upto the water fall. Absolutely stunning. Well worth a visit if your visiting Ambleside. Be sure to walk to the right when the path forks, you see the falls better, then walk over the bridge to come back. Highly recommended.
