Red Rock Country

Despite its relatively small size, Sedona overflows with tourist appeal.
Step off the beaten path and head to Red Rock Scenic Byway (SR 179) and Surya Sedona Yoga & Hiking. The adventure continues: explore the stunning scenery at Oak Creek Canyon, explore the striking landscape at Cathedral Rock, take in the spiritual surroundings of Chapel of the Holy Cross, and stop by Mystical Bazaar.

Madison to Sedona is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. Traveling from Madison in October, expect Sedona to be a bit warmer, temps between 77°F and 55°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Mon) so you can travel to Grand Canyon National Park.

Center of Canyon Country

Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Kick off your visit on the 21st (Fri): take in breathtaking views at Antelope Canyon and then take in the dramatic natural features at Horseshoe Bend. Keep things going the next day: take in breathtaking views at Lower Antelope Canyon.
