Surround yourself with breathtaking scenery, from the snow-capped peaks to the clear waters of the fjords, at Stranda, one of the most picturesque regions of western Norway. Consisting of a cluster of villages, Stranda is an excellent base for taking a cruise of the fjords and touring the surrounding natural beauty. Hiking, fishing, canoeing, and kayaking are just some of things to do throughout the year, while in the winter you can ski some of Norway’s longest slopes, which take you from the mountaintops all the way to the fjords. Round off your stay with a visit to the cultural centers and preserved historic buildings, where you can learn about local traditions.
