Step out of Denmark with an excursion to Plantagenet Wines in Mount Barker--about 38 minutes away. It doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at Shelley Beach and tour the pleasant surroundings at Greens Pool.

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Voyager Estate and Redgate Wines. Step off the beaten path and head to Caves Road and Cape Mentelle Wines. Venture out of the city with trips to Windance Estate Wines (in Yallingup), Glenarty Road (in Karridale) and Augusta (Water wheel & Whale Watch Western Australia).
