Bryce Canyon National Park — 7 nights

You can find hoodoos--rock pillars formed by erosion--all around the world, but those of Bryce Canyon National Park remain the standard bearers thanks to their bright red color, tall stature, and arrangement in large amphitheaters.
Get some cultural insight at Maynard Dixon Living History Museum and Widtsoe Ghost Town. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Agua Canyon and Swamp Canyon. Venture out of the city with trips to Ice Cave (in Duck Creek Village), Willis Creek (in Cannonville) and Big Water (Alstrom Point & Grosvenor Arch). Spend the 3rd (Fri) exploring nature at Under-the-Rim Trail. The adventure continues: take in breathtaking views at Ponderosa Canyon, trek along Rim Trail, take some stellar pictures from Fairyland Point, and stroll through Bristlecone Loop.

To see other places to visit, ratings, reviews, and other tourist information, refer to the Bryce Canyon National Park online trip maker.

In February, plan for daily highs up to 40°F, and evening lows to 13°F.
