Great Basin National Park — 5 nights

Great Basin National Park is one of the U.S.'s more out-of-the-way national parks, but those who make the trip are rewarded with the striking contrast of snowcapped peaks rising from a high-altitude desert.
Step off the beaten path and head to Alpine Lakes Loop and Stella Lake. Get in touch with nature at Baker Lake Trail and Cave Lake State Park. Next up on the itinerary: contemplate the waterfront views at Teresa Lake, hike along Bristlecone Trail, cruise along Mather Overlook, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Wheeler Peak.

To see more things to do, reviews, and other tourist information, refer to the Great Basin National Park trip site.
