Formerly a sleepy fishing village, the beach resort town of Kuta now represents one of Indonesia's most popular tourist destinations.
Venture out of the city with trips to Uluwatu Temple (in Pecatu), Blue Paradise Diving (in Sanur) and Tanah Lot Temple (in Beraban). There's much more to do: make a splash at Waterbom Bali, relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, and kick back and relax at Pantai Sanur.

Singapore, Singapore to Kuta is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of ferry, bus, and taxi. September in Kuta sees daily highs of 35°C and lows of 27°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Sat) to allow time to drive to Amed.
