Venture out of the city with trips to Khor Virap (in Lusarat), Geghard (Azhdaak Mountain & The Monastery of Geghard) and Tushpa Wine Cellar (in Taperakan). Dedicate the 10th (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: make a trip to Republic Square, examine the collection at Matenadaran - The Museum of Ancient Manuscripts, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Aragats, and steep yourself in history at Garni Temple.
