The capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, boasts an impressive medieval quarter--one of the continent's largest and a World Heritage Site with almost 2,000 historical buildings.Explore Vilnius' surroundings by going to Druskininkai (Druskininkai Aquapark, One Adventure Park, &more), Trakai (Kenesa, Trakai Island Castle Museum, &more) and Kaunas (Kauno Tado Ivanausko Zoologijas Muziejus, Devil's Museum, &more). Spend the 9th (Fri) exploring nature at Dzūkija National Park. Spend the 23rd (Fri) exploring nature at Aukstaitijos National Park. There's lots more to do: get engrossed in the history at Gediminas Castle Tower, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Church Of St Peter And St Paul, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Anne's Church, and take in panoramic vistas at Vilnius TV Tower.
