A natural harbor established in 1852, Port Augusta houses one of the most popular tourist attractions of the area, the Wadlata Outback Center.You'll find plenty of places to visit near Port Augusta: Wilpena (Bridle Gap & Wangara Lookout), Hawker (Off-Road Tours, Flinders Ranges National Park, &more) and Whyalla (Ada Ryan Gardens, Hummock Hill Lookout, &more). Spend the 14th (Sat) exploring nature at Mount Remarkable National Park.
