Surrounded by mountain ranges and boasting a well-preserved city center, Salzburg melds culture and history.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): don't miss a visit to Mozartplatz, then browse the exhibits of Fortress Hohensalzburg, and then admire the landmark architecture of Mirabell Palace. On your second day here, explore the historical opulence of Schloss Hellbrunn, then discover the riches below the earth's surface at Salzwelten Salzburg, and then see the interesting displays at Red Bull Hangar-7.

Bucharest, Romania to Salzburg is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Bucharest to Salzburg.
