Manitou Springs — 2 nights

Manitou Springs' main street was once a trail that led directly to the base of Pike's Peak.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Fri): immerse yourself in nature at Mueller State Park. Keep things going the next day: cruise along Pikes Peak - America's Mountain, then explore the ancient world of Manitou Cliff Dwellings, then contemplate the waterfront views at Manitou Springs Incline, and finally stroll through Barr Trail to Pikes Peak.
