A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.Venture out of the city with trips to Cape Kabuto (in Tomari-mura), Noboribetsu (Jigokudani, Natazukuri Kannon, &more) and Otaru (Otaru Aquarium, The Site of Temiya Line, &more). There's much more to do: take in the architecture and design of Hokkaido University Sapporo Campus, stroll through Okurayama Lookout, get great views at Sapporo TV Tower, and wander the streets of Susukino.

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major aiports are New Chitose Airport, Asahikawa Airport and Hakodate Airport. In November, plan for daily highs up to 6°C, and evening lows to 3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
