Elkins — 1 night

Elkins is a city in Randolph County, West Virginia, USA. The community was incorporated in 1890 and named in honor of Stephen Benton Elkins (1841–1911), a U.S. Senator from West Virginia. Start off your visit on the 17th (Fri): contemplate the long history of Elkins Depot Welcome Center CVB, Inc. and then stroll through Allegheny Highlands Trail.

Cass is a census-designated place (CDP) on the Greenbrier River in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 52. Start off your visit on the 18th (Sat): admire the majestic nature at Cass Scenic Railroad State Park. On your second day here, identify plant and animal life at Gaudineer Scenic Area and then look and learn at Green Bank Observatory.
