Often referred to as "Mini Amsterdam," Haarlem provides all the classical charm of Amsterdam, but on a smaller scale.

Venture out of the city with trips to Kasteel de Haar (in Haarzuilens), Zaandam (Zaanse Schans, Kooijman Souvenirs & Clogs Wooden Shoe Workshop, &more) and Kaaspakhuis (in Woerden). There's much more to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Grote Markt, see the interesting displays at The Corrie ten Boom House, get curious at CORPUS 'journey through the human body', and don't miss a visit to City Hall.
