Bucharest — 3 nights

The booming city of Bucharest is a sophisticated metropolis with a high contrast of old- and new-world architecture.
Do some cultural sightseeing at National Museum of Art of Romania (Muzeul Nakional de Arta al Romaniei) and Muzeul Coleckiilor de Arta. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History and Catedrala Patriarhala. Step out of Bucharest with an excursion to Tiriac Collection in Otopeni--about 36 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at Cotroceni Palace (Palatul Cotroceni), look for gifts at Romanian Boutique, view the masterpieces at Muzeul National al Satului "Dimitrie Gusti", and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Biserica Sfantul Gheorghe Nou.
