Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Tokyo is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone difference moving from Malaysia Time to Japan Standard Time is 1 hour. Plan for much colder temperatures traveling from Kuala Lumpur in December, with highs in Tokyo at 14°C and lows at 4°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 14th (Sat) to allow enough time to fly to Osaka.
