A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.Venture out of the city with trips to Kutchan-cho (Shu Ogawara Museum of Art, Niseko Tokyu Grand HIRAFU, &more), Niseko-cho (Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area, Niseko Village Ski Resort, &more) and Mt. Yotei Spring Water (in Makkari-mura). There's much more to do: walk around Odori Park, wander the streets of Susukino, take in panoramic vistas at Sapporo TV Tower, and take in the architecture and design of Hokkaido University Sapporo Campus.
