A city of towering skyscrapers, sandy beaches, and tree-lined streets, Gold Coast has an unpretentious air complemented by a citywide focus on sports and the arts.
Attractions like Sea World Theme Park and Warner Bros. Movie World make great kid-friendly stops. Step out of Gold Coast to go to Brisbane and see South Bank Parklands, which is approximately 1h 15 min away. Pack the 5th (Thu) with family-friendly diversions at Dreamworld. It doesn't end there: glide through the air with GC Jet Boat & Parasail and enjoy the sand and surf at Burleigh Heads Beach.
