Enshrouded in lush indigenous forest and surrounding a scenic lagoon of the same name, the Garden Route town of Knysna has plenty to offer.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Buffalo Bay and Parasailing & Paragliding. Take a break from the city and head to Plettenberg Beach and Adrenaline & Extreme Tours. Take a break from Knysna with a short trip to Dolphin Point Lookout in Wilderness, about 40 minutes away. There's lots more to do: stroll through Bollard Bay, view the masterpieces at Jandreart Studio, and sample the tasty concoctions at Sedgefield Craft Brewery.
