Fly from Tokyo to Kanazawa in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Plan for a bit cooler temperatures traveling from Tokyo in March, with highs in Kanazawa at 13°C and lows at 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Fri) early enough to drive to Kyoto.

You'll discover tucked-away gems like Ishiyamadera Temple and Mii-dera Temple (Onjo-ji Temple). Get some cultural insight at Kyoto Gyoen National Garden and Jonangu Shrine. Traveling by car from Kanazawa to Kyoto takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. In March in Kyoto, expect temperatures between 16°C during the day and 5°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Fri) to allow enough time to take a train to Hiroshima.

Escape the urban bustle at Mochiishi Seacoast and Yamaguchi Flower Land. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Abuto Kannon (Bandai-ji Temple Kannondo) and Fukuzen-ji Temple. You can take a train from Kyoto to Hiroshima in 2.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Expect a daytime high around 16°C in March, and nighttime lows around 6°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Wed) early enough to take a train to Himeji.

Appreciate the collections at Nojima Fault Preservation Museum and Tegarayama Exchange Station. Visiting Suma Beach and Miki Horse Land Park will get you outdoors. Venture out of the city with trips to Okayama (Omotecho Shopping Street & Icot Nicot), Soja (Yamate Direct Sales Fureai no Sato, Fukuyamajyoato, &more) and Amore Beach (in Akashi). And it doesn't end there: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kakurin-ji Temple, contemplate the long history of Okikuido, and get engrossed in the history at Hyogo Prefectural Museum of History.
