Venture out of the city with trips to Haengebruecke (in Kals am Grossglockner), Kitzsteinhorn (in Kaprun) and Geopark Karnische Alpen (in Dellach). Spend the 2nd (Sun) exploring nature at Großglockner National Park. There's more to do: head outdoors with Grossglockner High Alpine Road and take in the awesome beauty at Grossglockner.

Melk, a small town of about 5,000, hugs the south side of the Danube.
