Jackson Hole — 2 nights

The Jackson Hole valley is approximately 97 km (60 mi) long and 24 km (15 mi) wide, encompassing the town of Jackson, Teton Village, and the northern section of Grand Teton National Park.
Take a break from the city and head to Jenny Lake Trail and Ana's Grand Excursions. Step off the beaten path and head to Jenny Lake and Town Square. Change things up with a short trip to Taggart Lake in Grand Teton National Park (about 44 minutes away). There's more to do: identify plant and animal life at Laurance Rockefeller Preserve and explore the world behind art at National Museum of Wildlife Art.

Washington to Jackson Hole is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also drive. You'll gain 2 hours traveling from Washington to Jackson Hole due to the time zone difference. You can do a combination of flight and car from Yellowstone National Park to Moab in 7 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of taxi, bus, train, and car. In June, Moab is much warmer than Yellowstone National Park - with highs of 95°F and lows of 61°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Mon) early enough to drive to Zion National Park.
