The multicultural Cluj-Napoca is the capital of the historic region of Transylvania.Do some cultural sightseeing at Salina Turda and Cimitirul Central. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Franciscan Church and City Walls of Cluj. Step out of Cluj-Napoca with an excursion to Moara de Vant in Ciurila--about 34 minutes away. There's lots more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Reformed Church of Cluj-Napoca, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Piarist Church, pause for some photo ops at Rex Matia Corvin Statue, and look for all kinds of wild species at Cheile Turzii.
