Paris, France to New York City is an approximately 11.5-hour flight. The time zone changes from Central European Standard Time (CET) to Eastern Standard Time (EST), which is usually a -6 hour difference. Traveling from Paris in July, expect New York City to be a bit warmer, temps between 35°C and 26°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 19th (Wed) so you can catch the flight to Lake George.

Traveling by flight from New York City to Lake George takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from New York City in July, Lake George is a bit cooler at night with lows of 18°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sat) so you can go by car to Lake Placid.

Lake Placid is a village in the Adirondack Mountains in Essex County, New York, United States. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Lake Placid: Fishing Charters & Tours (in Plattsburgh) and Coney Mountain Trail (in Tupper Lake). The adventure continues: contemplate the waterfront views at Mirror Lake, take in the awesome beauty at Whiteface Mountain, enjoy the sand and surf at Wilmington Town Beach, and grab your bike and head to Whiteface Mountain Bike Park.

Traveling by car from Lake George to Lake Placid takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Lake George in July: high temperatures in Lake Placid hover around 28°C and lows are around 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Tue) so you can drive to Old Forge.

Old Forge is a hamlet (and census-designated place) on New York State Route 28 in the town of Webb in Herkimer County, New York. Start off your visit on the 26th (Wed): hit the slopes at McCauley Mountain, get in on the family fun at Enchanted Forest Water Safari, and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Bald Mountain. Keep things going the next day: take in the awesome beauty at Blue Mountain, get engrossed in the history at Adirondack Experience, The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake, and then make a trip to Big Moose Community Chapel.

Drive from Lake Placid to Old Forge in 2.5 hours. Traveling from Lake Placid in July, Old Forge is somewhat warmer at night with lows of 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Palmyra.

On the 28th (Fri), contemplate the long history of Book of Mormon Publication Site, then contemplate the long history of Smith Family Farm, and then trek along Shadow Hills Maple Syrup Farm. Here are some ideas for day two: trek along Huckleberry Swamp, immerse yourself in nature at Chimney Bluffs State Park, and then admire the majestic nature at Beechwood State Park.

You can drive from Old Forge to Palmyra in 3 hours. In July, daily temperatures in Palmyra can reach 32°C, while at night they dip to 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Sat) early enough to drive to Niagara Falls.
