22 days in Melrose Itinerary

Melrose is the oldest town in the Flinders Ranges. Step off the beaten path and head to Wirrabara Forest and Bowman Park. Get out of town with these interesting Melrose side-trips: Wirrabara Silo Art (in Wirrabara), Wilmington (Hancock's Lookout, Wilmington toy museum, &more) and Port Germein (Port Germein Tide Clock & Port Germein Jetty). Spend the 16th (Mon) exploring nature at Flinders Ranges National Park. Spend the 19th (Thu) exploring nature at Mount Remarkable National Park. There's still lots to do: steep yourself in history at Terowie Railway Station, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt Brown, make a trip to Giant Red Gum Tree, and stroll around Pioneer Park.
