Toronto, Canada to Plattsburgh is an approximately 6-hour car ride. Traveling from Toronto in July, plan for little chillier nights in Plattsburgh, with lows around 17°C. On the 25th (Tue), you're off to Lake Placid.

Step off the beaten path and head to Mount Jo and Lake Placid. Get in touch with nature at Adirondack Wildlife Refuge and Buttermilk Falls. Traveling from Lake Placid in July, things will get a bit warmer in Lake George: highs are around 32°C and lows about 18°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 7th (Mon) early enough to go by car to Old Forge.

Take a break from the city and head to McCauley Mountain and Adirondack Experience, The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Enchanted Forest Water Safari and Blue Mountain. Explore Old Forge's surroundings by going to Long Lake (Lake Lila Primitive Area & Hoss's Country Corner) and Castle Rock Trail (in Blue Mountain Lake).
