Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Venture out of the city with trips to Pacific Bonsai Museum (in Federal Way), Olympic National Park (Murhut Falls, Kalaloch Beach Trail 4, &more) and Union Station (in Tacoma). Dedicate the 26th (Mon) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. The adventure continues: take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle, see the interesting displays at The Museum of Flight, observe the fascinating underwater world at Seattle Aquarium, and take in the waterfront at Hiram M. Chittenden Locks.

On the 27th (Tue), walk around Stanley Park and then take in the dramatic natural features at Vancouver Seawall. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 28th (Wed): admire all the interesting features of Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and then take a stroll through Granville Island.
