Athens, Greece to Phnom Penh is an approximately 19-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 5 hours traveling from Athens to Phnom Penh. In January, Phnom Penh is warmer than Athens - with highs of 36°C and lows of 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Sihanoukville.

When in Sihanoukville, make a side trip to see Vagabond Temple Yoga & Meditation Retreat in Kep, approximately Kep away. Spend the 11th (Tue) wandering through the wild on CS-Tours. Getting from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi; or do a combination of train and taxi. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Kampot.

Kick off your visit on the 12th (Wed): step off the mainland to explore Koh Tonsay (Rabbit Island), tour the pleasant surroundings at Kep Beach, and then stop by Tiny Kampot Pillows. On the next day, experience rural life at Flying Dog Farm and then experience rural life at Sothy's Pepper Farm.

Getting from Sihanoukville to Kampot by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: drive. Cap off your sightseeing on the 13th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Battambang.

You can do a combination of flight and bus from Kampot to Battambang in 6 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus; or take a train. In January in Battambang, expect temperatures between 28°C during the day and 26°C at night. On the 15th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Siem Reap.

Traveling from Battambang in January, expect nights in Siem Reap to be about the same, around 25°C, while days are somewhat warmer, around 36°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Sun) early enough to catch the flight back home.
