Expect slightly colder weather when traveling from Rome in January: highs in Paris hover around 8°C, while lows dip to 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Fri) to allow enough time to take a train to Brussels.

Expect a bit cooler weather when traveling from Paris in February: highs in Brussels hover around 5°C, while lows dip to 0°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Bruges.

Explore Bruges' surroundings by going to Ghent (Ghent City Center, Gravensteen, &more). Getting from Brussels to Bruges by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a train; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 8°C in February, and nighttime lows around 1°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Wed) so you can drive to Amsterdam.
