Dilijan — 3 nights

Armenian Switzerland

An alpine haven resting in a plush evergreen national park, Dilijan has made a name for itself as the "Armenian Switzerland." A much-loved spa town rich in culture and history, uncover the majestic 10th century monasteries, undisturbed scenic vistas, and hiking trails through undulating forest.
Get out of town with these interesting Dilijan side-trips: Hayravank Monastery (in Hayravank), Kecharis Monastery (in Tsakhkadzor) and Monastery Sevanavank (in Sevan). Make the 30th (Tue) an awe-inspiring day at Dilijan National Park. There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Haghartsin Monastery, don't miss a visit to Sharambeyan Street, contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Parz, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saint Sargis Chapel.

Tatev is a village and rural community in the Syunik Province of Armenia.
