Kitzbühel is a small medieval town situated along the river Kitzbuhler Ache in Tyrol, Austria and the administrative centre of the Kitzbühel district. Explore Kitzbuhel's surroundings by going to Kufstein (Kufstein Fortress & Kufsteinerland), Soll (Ahornsee & Hexenwasser) and Matrei in Osttirol (Chiesetta di San Nicolo a Matrei & Nationalparkhaus Matrei). The adventure continues: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Grossglockner, pause for some serene contemplation at St. John Nepomuck, don't miss a visit to Markbachjochbahn, and hit the slopes at Element3 Ski School.

Ischgl — 2 nights

Ischgl is a town in the Paznaun Valley in the Austrian state of Tyrol. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): identify plant and animal life at Rosengartenschlucht, then find something for the whole family at Alpine Coaster, and then hike along Senn's Wonder Walking Trail. Here are some ideas for day two: fly down the slopes at Ischgl-Samnaun ski area, take in the spiritual surroundings of Die Pfarrkirche Ischgl, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Die Kirche von St. Jakob, then fly down the slopes at St. Anton, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at St Anthony of Padua.
