Step out of Paris to go to Versailles and see Palace of Versailles, which is approximately 46 minutes away. There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Louvre Museum, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre, steep yourself in history at Eiffel Tower, and make a trip to Place de la Concorde.
