Getting from Tokyo to Kanazawa by flight takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or drive. Plan for a bit cooler temperatures traveling from Tokyo in March, with highs in Kanazawa at 13°C and lows at 3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Fri) so you can drive to Kyoto.
