Moletai — 3 nights

Molėtai is a town in north eastern Lithuania. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Kristaus Zengimo i dangU baznycia and Geographical Midpoint Of Europe Monument. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Moletai: Europos Parkas (in Joneikiskes), Dauniskio Park (in Utena) and Kernave Mounds (in Kernave). Anykščiai is a ski resort town in Lithuania, 20mi west of Utena. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to The Historical Complex of Seimyniskeliai Mound and Dainuvos nuotykiu slenis. Explore Anyksciai's surroundings by going to Utena (VestuviU Kalnas & Utenio Square). Next up on the itinerary: see the interesting displays at Angels Museum, don't miss a visit to Puntukas Stone, let the kids burn off some steam at Labyrinth Theme Park, and take in panoramic vistas at Rubikiai Observation Tower.

Alytus — 4 nights

Alytus is a city with municipal rights in southern Lithuania. Visit Merkine Mound and Sv. Angelu sargu baznycia for their historical value. Step off the beaten path and head to White Rose Bridge and Angel of Freedom. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Alytus: Simnas Church (in Simnas) and Assumption of Blessed Mary Virgin Church (in Pivasiunai). There's still lots to do: walk around Alytaus Miesto Parkas, stroll through Alytus Town Hall Square, and examine the collection at Alytus Museum.
