Singapore, Singapore to Tokyo is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone changes from Singapore Standard Time (SGT) to Japan Standard Time (JST), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Plan for cooler temperatures traveling from Singapore in January, with highs in Tokyo at 11°C and lows at 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 1st (Thu) to allow time for the flight to Yamagata.

Traveling by flight from Tokyo to Yamagata takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Tokyo in February: high temperatures in Yamagata hover around 2°C and lows are around -3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Fri) to allow enough time to fly to Sapporo.

Start off your visit on the 3rd (Sat): fly down the slopes at Takino Snow World, head outdoors with Fu's snow area, then get great views at Mt. You can fly from Yamagata to Sapporo in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and train; or do a combination of bus and train. When traveling from Yamagata in February, plan for a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Sapporo: temperatures range from -1°C by day to -5°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Noboribetsu.

Kick off your visit on the 5th (Mon): look for all kinds of wild species at Kiushito Wetland, walk around Sengen Park, then explore the striking landscape at Jigokudani, then relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, and finally witness a stunning natural landmark at Oyunumagawa Natural Footbath.

Getting from Sapporo to Noboribetsu by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: drive; or take a train; or take a bus. In February in Noboribetsu, expect temperatures between 1°C during the day and -4°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Furano.

On the 6th (Tue), soak in some Japanese tradition at Furano Onsen Shisainoyu, fly down the slopes at Furano Ski Resort, make a trip to Ningle Terrace, play a few rounds at Furano Golf Course, then don't miss a visit to Popuri no Sato Herb Garden, and finally examine the collection at Furabi.

Traveling from Noboribetsu in February, things will get a bit cooler in Furano: highs are around -3°C and lows about -12°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Biei-cho.

Kick off your visit on the 7th (Wed): take a memorable drive along Shirakaba Road, take in the dramatic scenery at Shirahige Falls, then explore the activities along Shirogane Blue Pond, then cruise along Patchwork no Michi, and finally take a memorable drive along Ken & Mary Tree.

You can drive from Furano to Biei-cho in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train; or take a bus. In February, daily temperatures in Biei-cho can reach -3°C, while at night they dip to -12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Wed) so you can drive to Asahikawa.

On the 8th (Thu), get great views at Kamuikotan, head outdoors with Asahikawa Kamui Ski Resort, fly down the slopes at Santa Present Park, then fly down the slopes at Inosawa Ski Resort, then fly down the slopes at Asahiyama Yuki no Mura, and finally make a trip to Asahikawa Station.

You can drive from Biei-cho to Asahikawa in an hour. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. Expect somewhat warmer evenings in Asahikawa when traveling from Biei-cho in February, with lows around -7°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Thu) to allow time to fly to Osaka.
