Venture out of the city with trips to Aiud Citadel (in Aiud) and Alba Iulia (Cetatea Alba Iulia & Catedrala Reintregirii Neamului). Curtea de Argeș is a city in Romania on the right bank of the Argeş River, where it flows through a valley of the lower Carpathians (the Făgăraș Mountains), on the railway from Pitești to the Turnu Roșu Pass. Otopeni is a town in Ilfov County, Romania, some 15km north of Bucharest along the road to Ploiești. Start off your visit on the 19th (Tue): boost your wellbeing at Therme București. On your second day here, take in the spiritual surroundings of Snagov Monastery and then pause for some serene contemplation at St.George's Church.
