Utah's capital and most populous city, Salt Lake City boasts a small-town feel, big-city amenities, and plenty of nature on its doorstep.

Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Temple Square and The Tabernacle. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Salt Lake Temple and Assembly Hall. Traveling by car from Salt Lake City to Moab takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and car; or do a combination of train and car. In July, daytime highs in Moab are 42°C, while nighttime lows are 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 21st (Fri) early enough to drive to Bryce Canyon National Park.

Drive from Moab to Bryce Canyon National Park in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car and bus. Plan for little chillier temperatures traveling from Moab in July, with highs in Bryce Canyon National Park at 32°C and lows at 10°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 24th (Mon) so you can go by car to Kanab.

Kanab is a city in and the county seat of Kane County, Utah, United States. Get in touch with nature at Zion National Park and The Narrows. Do some cultural sightseeing at Kanab Heritage House Museum and Historical Kanab Library. Traveling by car from Bryce Canyon National Park to Kanab takes 1.5 hours. In July, Kanab is a bit warmer than Bryce Canyon National Park - with highs of 40°C and lows of 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Thu) so you can drive to St. George.

St. Start off your visit on the 28th (Fri): take in the spiritual surroundings of Pine Valley Chapel and then take an exotic tour of Zion Jeep Tours. Getting from Kanab to St. George by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a shuttle. Traveling from Kanab in July, expect St. George to be somewhat warmer, temps between 44°C and 28°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
