Ecological Capital of Brazil

The word "Brazil" isn't often mentioned in the same breath as "excellent urban planning"--except in Curitiba.
Change things up with a short trip to Vinhos do Italiano in Sao Jose Dos Pinhais (about 42 minutes away). There's still lots to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Jardim Botanico de Curitiba, see the interesting displays at Deutscher Wald / Bosque Alemao, stroll around Parque Barigui, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Santuario Tabor Magnificat.
