Salem is the capital of the U.S. state of Oregon, and the county seat of Marion County. Kick off your visit on the 14th (Sun): find something for the whole family at Enchanted Forest Theme Park, make a trip to Salem's Riverfront Carousel, and then identify plant and animal life at Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge.
