Ranking as the most popular ski resort in Hokkaido, mountaintop Niseko-cho boasts great slopes and surprisingly vibrant nightlife.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Niseko-cho: Sobetsu-cho (Showa Shinzan Kumabokujo & Showashinzan), Toyako-cho (Ukimido Park & Silo Viewing Platform) and Nikka Whisky Yoichi Distillery (in Yoichi-cho). There's lots more to do: explore the striking landscape at Jigokudani, explore the activities along Lake Toya, get to know the resident critters at Noboribetsu Bear Park, and stop by Kanrosui.

Jakarta, Indonesia to Niseko-cho is an approximately 16-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 2 hours traveling from Jakarta to Niseko-cho. Prepare for colder weather when traveling from Jakarta in November: high temperatures in Niseko-cho hover around 9°C and lows are around 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Osaka.

Proud of their hometown's distinct culture and dialect, many natives of Osaka describe their city as "Japan's anti-capital." An antidote to Tokyo's hectic energy, Osaka marches to the beat of its own drum, serving as the country's longtime commercial and industrial hub.
Kick off your visit on the 7th (Mon): make a trip to Tami, contemplate the long history of Osaka Castle, and then wander the streets of Dotombori District. On the 8th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get in on the family fun at Universal Studios Japan and then meet the residents at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan.

Kyoto — 2 nights

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
On the 9th (Wed), contemplate the long history of Kiyomizu-dera Temple and then admire the landmark architecture of Jishu Shrine. Keep things going the next day: step into the grandiose world of Nijo Castle, then take a stroll through Gion, and then steep yourself in history at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine.

Take a train from Osaka to Kyoto in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In November in Kyoto, expect temperatures between 19°C during the day and 10°C at night. You'll have a few hours on the 11th (Fri) to wrap things up before traveling to Tokyo.

Tokyo — 3 nights

Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Step out of Tokyo with an excursion to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama--about 30 minutes away. Have a day of magic on the 14th (Mon) at Tokyo Disneyland. There's still lots to do: make a trip to Meiji Jingu Shrine, get a sense of history and politics at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings, enjoy breathtaking views from Tokyo Skytree, and appreciate the history behind Hachiko.

You can fly from Kyoto to Tokyo in 3 hours. Other options are to take a train; or drive. Expect a daytime high around 19°C in November, and nighttime lows around 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Mon) to allow enough time to fly back home.
