Visit the city of Dubbo, the most populous urban area in the Orana Region, for an exciting and thriving multicultural city from which to explore the surrounding Great Western Plains.
Get out of town with these interesting Dubbo side-trips: Wellington Caves & Phosphate Mine (in Wellington) and Peak Hill Open Cut Experience (in Peak Hill). The adventure continues: contemplate the long history of Old Dubbo Gaol, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Taronga Western Plains Zoo, and admire the natural beauty at Shoyoen Japanese Garden.
