Furano — 3 nights

Situated in the center of the island, Furano has become known for its idyllic rural landscape, and the drastic changes it experiences as seasons shift.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Biei Farm and Glass Forest in FURANO. Bring the kids along to Shujitsu no Oka and Anpanman Shop Furano. Change things up with these side-trips from Furano: Biei-cho (Patchwork no Michi, Shikisai no Oka, &more). Next up on the itinerary: take in nature's colorful creations at Farm Tomita and make a trip to Ningle Terrace.

Kobe to Furano is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. In July, Furano is little chillier than Kobe - with highs of 30°C and lows of 21°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Mon) early enough to go by car to Chitose.

Chitose — 1 night

With the largest international airport on the island, Chitose serves for most visitors as a way in or a way out, rather than a destination in itself.
You've now added Ohashi Cherry Farm to your itinerary. Start off your visit on the 26th (Mon): relax in the rural setting at Ohashi Cherry Farm, see the interesting displays at Royce' Chocolate World, then explore the activities along Lake Shikotsu, then indulge in Japan's hot spring tradition at some of the top local onsens, and finally stroll around Aoba Park.

Niseko-cho — 4 nights

Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido

Ranking as the most popular ski resort in Hokkaido, mountaintop Niseko-cho boasts great slopes and surprisingly vibrant nightlife.
Explore hidden gems such as Shimamu Beach and Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort. Kids will enjoy Mishima's Shibazakura Garden and Cape Shakotan. Venture out of the city with trips to Cape Kamui (in Shakotan-cho) and Toyako Visitor Center (in Toyako-cho). And it doesn't end there: see the winter wonderland with Hokkaido Backcountry Club, trot along with a tour on horseback, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Niseko Annupuri, and hit the slopes at Niseko Village Pure.

Towada — 2 nights

Tucked away among the foothills of the Hakkoda mountain range, Towada tourism revolves around its eponymous lake and the surrounding national park.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Sun): explore the activities along Itomuka no Irie and then pause for some photo ops at Statue of Maidens. Here are some ideas for day two: contemplate the waterfront views at Tsutanuma Pond, then admire the sheer force of Hakufu no Taki, then explore the activities along Ashura no Nagare, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Oirase Gorge.

Kamaishi is a city located on the Sanriku rias coast in Iwate Prefecture, Japan., the city had an estimated population of 35,228, and a population density of 80 persons per km2, in 16,832 households. Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Tue): enjoy the sand and surf at Goishihama, then explore the striking landscape at Anatoshishiso, then enjoy the sand and surf at Goishi Kaigan Beach, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Kamaishi Daikannon. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: contemplate the waterfront views at Kappabuchi, then examine the collection at Iron and Steel History Museum, then kick back and relax at Nehama Beach, and finally learn more about the world around you at Inochi wo Tsunagu Miraikan / Unosato Koryukan.

Matsushima-machi — 1 night

Matsushima-machi has long enjoyed a reputation for its natural scenery: back in the 17th century, scholar Hayashi Gaho listed its bay as one of the Three Views of Japan.
