A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.

You'll find plenty of places to visit near Sapporo: Otaru (Otaru-shi General Museum, Otaru Canal, &more), Biei-cho (Shirogane Blue Pond & Shirahige Falls) and Farm Tomita Lavender East (in Kamifurano-cho). Singapore, Singapore to Sapporo is an approximately 13-hour flight. The time zone changes from Singapore Standard Time (SGT) to Japan Standard Time (JST), which is usually a 1 hour difference. Expect cooler temperatures when traveling from Singapore in April; daily highs in Sapporo reach 9°C and lows reach 7°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Shimukappu-mura.

You can drive from Sapporo to Shimukappu-mura in 2.5 hours. In April, daily temperatures in Shimukappu-mura can reach 10°C, while at night they dip to 6°C. On the 10th (Mon), you'll travel to Toyako-cho.

On the 10th (Mon), enjoy breathtaking views from Silo Viewing Platform, get all the information you need at Toya Mizunoeki, explore the activities along Lake Toya, then get impressive views of Showashinzan, and finally examine the collection at Mimatsu Masao Memorial Hall.

Traveling by car from Shimukappu-mura to Toyako-cho takes 3.5 hours. In April in Toyako-cho, expect temperatures between 13°C during the day and 3°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Tue) early enough to drive to Hakodate.

A gateway to the island, Hakodate has gained a reputation for its waterfront attractions, its proximity to some of the island's most popular natural sites, and its seafood.

On the 11th (Tue), hunt for treasures at Hakodate Morning Market, stop by Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, pause for some photo ops at Monument of Takeda Ayasaburo Sensei, admire the striking features of Goryokaku Park, then don't miss a visit to Goryokaku Tower, and finally see the interesting displays at Hakodate Magistrate's Office. On the 12th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at Old British Consulate of Hakodate, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Hakodate, take in the spiritual surroundings of Hakodate Orthodox Church, take a stroll through Motomachi, then don't miss a visit to Hachimanzaka, and finally contemplate the long history of The Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward.

You can drive from Toyako-cho to Hakodate in 2.5 hours. Expect a daytime high around 13°C in April, and nighttime lows around 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Noboribetsu.

Perhaps the island's best-known hot spring resort, Noboribetsu has a long history of tourism.

Start off your visit on the 13th (Thu): get to know the resident critters at Noboribetsu Bear Park, then witness a stunning natural landmark at Oyunumagawa Natural Footbath, then explore the striking landscape at Jigokudani, and finally relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas.

You can drive from Hakodate to Noboribetsu in 3 hours. Another option is to take a train. In April in Noboribetsu, expect temperatures between 13°C during the day and 3°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Fri) to allow time to fly to Tokyo.

Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.

Take a break from Tokyo with a short trip to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama, about 30 minutes away. There's lots more to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, make a trip to Tokyo Skytree, take in the spiritual surroundings of Senso-ji Temple, and pause for some photo ops at Hachiko.

Traveling by flight from Noboribetsu to Tokyo takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Noboribetsu in April, things will get a bit warmer in Tokyo: highs are around 22°C and lows about 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sun) to allow enough time to fly back home.
