Venture out of the city with trips to Garni (Basaltic Organ & Garni Temple), Geghard (The Monastery of Geghard & Azhdaak Mountain) and Tushpa Wine Cellar (in Taperakan). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Republic Square, do a tasting at Voskeni Wines, see the interesting displays at Matenadaran - The Museum of Ancient Manuscripts, and slough off your stress at Turkish baths.
